Student Union
Provincial Student Union
The Provincial Student Union is comprised of two members of each Executive Team from their local campus. Every year, in October, the Executives from the 6 campuses have their Annual General Meeting. During that time, the Provincial Student Union will elect their President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. These students typically work on one Legacy project each year. An example of a Legacy project is our Health and Dental program - without previous NBCC Student Union Executives pushing to gain this for students - we would not have it.
Local Campus Union
The Local Campus Unions are all of our Reps from each class as well as the Campus Executive. In mid-September each year, we open up Nominations! You’re able to nominate yourself or a fellow student to the following positions:
President Vice President
Secretary Treasurer
VP of Events VP of Advocacy
VP of Sports VP of Communications
These students work with our Reps, who are nominated at the classroom level. As a rep, you're able to nominate yourself or a fellow classmate. If you accept the position of a Rep, you are responsible for bringing information back to your class. Student Life Officers
Student Life Officers (SLO’s) are employees of the Provincial Student Union and work in the Student Union Offices on campus. SLO’s help coordinate with NBCC Staff for things like Orientation and Graduation, as well as organize events on behalf of their local campus Student Union. In this blended environment, SLO’s are available on campus during office hours OR always via email. Meet your Student Life Officers below:

Lynda Leger
Welcome to NBCC! My name is Lynda Leger and I am the Student Life Officer at the Moncton campus and the General Manager of the Provincial Student Union. As a graduate of the Business Marketing Program at the Moncton campus, I love that I am able to continue my connection with NBCC and its many wonderful students. I love meeting and collaborating with all of our students locally and around the province. I am looking forward to a fresh start this fall and gathering ideas on how we can have a great year together with all of our NBCC students around the province.

Angela Price
Hello NBCC Students! My name is Angela and I have been the Student Life officer for the NBCC Fredericton Student Union for 6 years now. I was born in Fredericton and grew up in the Harvey Station area. I am a proud NBCC Alumni Graduating from the Journalism Program at the Woodstock Campus in 2000. I love my job. I get to help guide the Student Union both locally and province wide. Now that I have introduced myself, I want to meet all of you too! You can find me in the Student Union office by the main floor lockers at the Fredericton campus. Drop by when you see the door open and see what the Student union has going on for you. We are always looking for driven students who would like to join us as a voice for our students and of course have some fun together too. Emily Penny
Hello Everyone,
My name is Emily Penny and I am the Student life Officer at the Saint John Campus. After Living Abroad since 2008 I have just recently moved back to Canada with my 2 young beautiful boys.
I am happiest when I’m outside and love to keep active. I am looking forward to working with everyone to get some fresh ideas for this year. I can’t wait to explore New Brunswick and see what the Region has to off us, especially each season. I am located at the Grandview Campus in Saint John in Building ‘B’. Crystal Reynolds
Hi everyone and welcome to NBCC!
My name is Crystal Reynolds and I am the Student Life Officer at the Miramichi Campus. Outside of the campus you can find me on the trails of the French Fort Cove any time of the year either hiking or snowshoeing. I am a mother of 3 and a grandmother of 6. I have a background in marketing and retail. I am new to this position and everyone has been so welcoming.
